The term Tech-House was made in 1994 in UK clubs whose patrons preferred the musical Techno theme of American DJs from Detroit and Chicago. Soon such British DJs such as Mr C, Eddie Richards and Terry Francis were combining the traditional structure of House music with Dub versions of tracks and hard variations on the theme of Techno. In the following year, Tech-House gained general club fame in such big cities as London, Liverpool and Manchester.
